Details
The title 'Psychic Warfare' is borrowed from the track 'X - Ray Visions'. As Neil Fallon puts it, it tells the story of an unnamed hero who has to take shelter in a run - down motel, hiding from some evil psychic forces, with his own sleep - deprived paranoia being the worst of them. 'Psychic Warfare' follows Clutch's highly successful 'Earth Rocker'. 'Earth Rocker' made an impressive entry at #15 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, hit #1 on the Rock Chart, and reached #4 on iTunes' overall Top 100. It was named Album Of The Year by Metal Hammer and landed a Top 10 spot on Rolling Stone's 'Top 20 Metal Albums of the Year'. Rolling Stone raved about it, saying these four Maryland veterans, who've been hard at work since the early Fugazi days, released their most rocking album yet. 'Psychic Warfare' continues right where 'Earth Rocker' left off, and Clutch is back in top form. The album is like a well - tuned engine running on all cylinders.
