DeathCollector emerged during the Covid lockdowns as a way to pass the time. Guitarist Mick Carey (from Zealot Cult and Brigante) and drummer Andy Whale (from Bolt Thrower and Darkened) collaborated with friends on classic and contemporary metal covers, sharing their work on social media. After deciding to create original music, vocalist Kieran Scott (from Ashen Crown and Grimorte) and bassist Lee Cummings (from Severe Lacerations and Bloodshed) joined, giving birth to DeathCollector. The debut EP 'Times Up' generated a lot of buzz, leading to the band signing with Prosthetic Records. Work then began on the debut full - length album 'Death’s Toll'. The band aims to create honest, straightforward music they love, blending Death Metal, Hardcore, and Punk. Punk has long been a fundamental influence on UK Death Metal.
