In 2013, Henri Sattler attended the funeral of his former label boss, Michael Trengert. Meeting industry folks and fellow musicians there, he realized his deep need for music. The full reformation of God Dethroned took a few years, but by 2014, the band was back on the road. The reboot happened on the 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise in 2015. After a year of festival performances, they recorded the last album of the World War I trilogy. 'The World Ablaze' was recorded in late 2016, mixed by Dan Swanö, and mastered by Sander van der Heide at Wisseloord Studios in the Netherlands.
