The Porto-based trio 10 000 Russos launched their new 'Live In Berlin' double LP on March 24th, 2023, through Rubber Duck, an imprint of Fuzz Club Records. This record showcases the band's electrifying subterranean motorik psych performance at Berlin’s Astra Kulturhaus on October 16th, 2021. Recorded during a European tour, 'Live In Berlin' features the band playing their 2021 'Superinertia' LP in its entirety. The five songs from the album are expanded and taken to more hypnotic and hedonistic levels in a live setting. These were 10 000 Russos’ first shows with a new, more - electronic line - up. Newly - recruited synth player Nils Meisel made his debut on the 'Superinertia' LP, joining founding members João Pimenta (drums/vocals) and Pedro Pestana (guitar). Throughout the hour - long set, Pimenta’s deadpan sprechgesang vocals and machine - like percussion, Pestana’s cascading psych guitar loops, and Meisel’s repetitive synth basslines combine to create a performance that can both hypnotize you and get you up on your feet.
