Details
AEON, one of the world's most renowned blasphemous death metal bands, is set to release their third full - length album, Path Of Fire, on Metal Blade Records. This album follows their Metal Blade debut, Rise To Dominate, and 2003's Bleeding The False (Unique Leader). The album features tracks like 'Forgiveness Denied', 'Kill Them All', 'Inheritance' and more. Path Of Fire was mixed by multi - talented Erik Rutan in Mana Studios in Florida, resulting in the band's best - sounding album to date. It has a more classical Death Metal feel, being more organic and dynamic than most modern productions. The album was recorded in Empire Studio in September 2009, engineered by Marcus Edvardsson. They used an unusual recording process, recording guitars and bass to a drum machine before Nils tracked the drums to meet the deadline. The lyrical theme is strongly anti - religious, criticizing the church and those behind Christ. Tommy did an excellent job writing the lyrics and vocal patterns, making the complex new songs easier to listen to. The new album has more fast - paced songs than the previous one while still maintaining that important groove. The cover art and layout, created by Daniel Dlimi, reflect the album's lyrical content and themes. Metal Blade Records item #149012.
If you're a fan of death metal and you've just bought this Aeon's Path Of Fire CD, here's how to enjoy it. First, find a comfortable spot, turn up your speakers, and let the intense music wash over you. There's no special way to listen to it, but if you want to fully understand the lyrics, you might want to read them while playing the CD. As for the CD itself, make sure to handle it with clean hands to avoid smudging or scratching the disc. When not in use, store it in its case to protect it from dust and damage. Keep it away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures as these can warp the disc. If the CD gets dirty, you can gently wipe it with a soft, clean cloth from the center outwards. That's all you need to know to enjoy this awesome death metal album for a long time.
