Death of a Field Marshal. In late 2012, the band began crafting songs for their third album. Lyrically, it takes a different approach. Instead of detailing a specific military campaign, this album delves into the military career, rise, and fall of German field marshal Erwin Rommel. Despite fighting on the losing side, Rommel was an outstanding strategist, feared and respected by his foes. Musically, 'III The Rommel Chronicles' has a bit of a throw - back to the debut album. The songs are quicker, rawer, more aggressive, and straightforward compared to 'On Divine Winds,' which had an epic and heroic vibe. Ed Warby handled the production, and Dan Swanö mixed and mastered the album. It's an item from Metal Blade Records (#152502).
