Describing Savage Sinusoid is no easy feat. If you're familiar with Igorrr, the brainchild of Gautier Serre, you know it's nearly impossible. Newcomers will find that a bunch of adjectives can't fully capture the creativity, energy, passion, playfulness, and genre - smashing joy he brings. Serre aimed to make boundary - less music. Since he couldn't find a band that fit his vision, he decided to create it himself. Starting with electronic music due to limited resources, he's come a long way. After self - releasing his debut Poisson Soluble in 2006, he's made a name for himself. Over the past decade, as his skills grew and his fan base expanded, he moved beyond the electronic niche, adding more live instruments. His 2012 album Hallelujah was great, but Savage Sinusoid outshines it. It took four years to develop, record, and mix. This album has no samples; every note was recorded in the studio.
