In 1986, Canada's Brighton Rock made a powerful debut with this album under WEA. It was expertly produced by the well - known hard rock/heavy metal producer and mixer Michael Wagener, who has worked with bands like Dokken, Skid Row, and Motley Crue. This album hit gold status in Canada, thanks to the huge success of the singles 'We Came to Rock' and 'Can't Wait for the Night'. Sadly, due to management problems, the difficulty of breaking into the U.S. market, and the rise of grunge and alternative music taking over the charts, the band disbanded in 1991 after releasing two more albums.
