For fans of Opeth, Ayreon, Devin Townend, Leprous, and Haken! LUNAR, a progressive metal band from Sacramento, CA, was formed in 2013 by Alex Bosson (drums/percussion) and Ryan Erwin (guitar/vocals). They aimed to create genre - defying music free from restrictive influences. After getting Danny Stevenson on keyboards, they struggled to find a full lineup. So, in 2014 winter, the trio self - released their debut EP, Provenance. After Provenance's release, Danny left the group. Bosson and Erwin then started working on LUNAR's debut full - length album, Theogony, a concept album based on the Nine Muses of Greek mythology. Unable to form a complete lineup during writing, they enlisted contributions from professional musicians worldwide. By the end of recording Theogony, 17 musicians participated. Sadly, in spring 2018, Erwin passed away. Bosson decided to continue LUNAR. Inspired by the tragedy, he wrote Eidolon, a concept album about the cycle of life and death and the stages of grief. After composing the music, he got Balmore Lemus to handle guitar tracking. With Ryan Price and Chandler Mogel returning, the lineup for Eidolon was set. Scheduled for November 2019 release, Eidolon offers an emotional progressive metal journey across seven tracks in nearly an hour. Similar to Theogony, it features contributions from 18 musicians, including members of Haken, Thank You Scientist, Fallujah, Leprous, and Caligula’s Horse.
To enjoy the Lunar Eidolon CD, simply insert it into your CD player. You can play it at home on a stereo system or in your car's CD player. Make sure your CD player is clean and in good working condition to avoid any playback issues. When not in use, keep the CD in its case to protect it from scratches and dust. If the CD gets dirty, you can gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth from the center outwards. Don't use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials as they can damage the CD. This CD is a great way to experience progressive metal music, so sit back, relax, and let the music take you on an emotional journey.
