Red LP. AETERNUS, a band founded by Ares in 1993 in Bergen, Norway, led the way in the Dark Metal genre. They blend Black Metal and Death Metal with elements of classical and folk music. The band creates its unique sound through layered, top - notch guitar playing and eerie, melodious interludes. Its current members include guitarist/vocalist Ares, guitarist Gorm, bassist Eld, and drummer Phobos, who are also present or former members of Gorgoroth, Immortal (live), and Gaahls Wyrd.
